| How it works | Each round, pick a Premier League team to win. Get it right and you're through to the next round. A draw or a loss, and you're out. The catch — you can only pick each team once across the league, so choose wisely. Play continues until one player's left standing. |
| Joining a league | Have you received an invite to join a league with a code? Head over to Get Started and join with your name and email — no password needed. |
| Running your own | Anyone can start a free league in seconds and get a code to share with their group. You can also brand it with your own group logo, up to 6 sponsor logos, and a prize — all optional. |
Anticiplay's own site-wide Last Man Standing league — everyone's welcome, no invite code needed. (You'll also land here automatically the first time you join or start any other Anticiplay league, so no need to do this twice.)
Got a code from whoever's running a league? Enter it, your name, and your email — no password needed. Already in this league on this device? You can add another entry under a different name too — nothing gets overwritten. You'll also be automatically entered into the official Anticiplay League, unless you're already in it.
On a new device or browser? Enter the email you used to join, and we'll find every league you're already part of and link this device to your existing entries — no duplicates, no re-joining.
Free to set up, free for everyone who joins. You'll get a code to share — in WhatsApp, wherever your group already talks. You'll also be automatically entered into the official Anticiplay League, unless you're already in it.
You'll need this PIN to enter results each round — keep it somewhere you'll remember.
Paste in a league code to view its leaderboard — no need to join.
No league loaded yet — join or start one from Get Started, or open one of your leagues above.

| Topic | How it works |
|---|---|
| Entry | Free to play. Anticiplay does not collect entry fees or distribute prizes. Any money arrangement between players is entirely outside this platform. |
| Making a pick | Before the round is settled, pick one team you think will win. You can't pick the same team twice across the same league. Once you lock in a pick, it's final — it can't be changed. |
| Pick deadline | Picks close automatically 1 hour before kickoff of the first game in that round. If you haven't locked in a pick by then, you're automatically disqualified for that round. |
| Elimination | A draw or a loss for your picked team eliminates you. So does missing the pick deadline. |
| Results | Filled in automatically from real Premier League scores once the admin links the round to the actual matchday — no one needs to enter them by hand, though the organiser can always override a result manually if needed. |
| Winning | Play continues, round after round, until one player remains — they're the winner. If everyone left standing goes out together in the same round instead, there's no winner that season — it rolls over. Either way, a new season starts automatically the following round, with everyone back in. |
| Starting your own league | Anyone can start a free league from the Get Started tab. Your league gets its own code, its own players, and its own standings — nothing to do with anyone else's. |
| The Anticiplay League | Alongside any private leagues, there's one official site-wide Anticiplay league everyone's welcome in. Join it directly from the Home page, or — the first time you join or start any other Anticiplay league — you're entered into it automatically. |
Running a league yourself? See the Organizer Guide for how to set it up.
Quick reference for running a league. Everything here lives inside My League → Admin, unlocked with the PIN you set when you created the league.
| Step | What to do |
|---|---|
| 1. Create your league | Get Started → Start a League. You'll get a code to share and set a 4-digit PIN — that PIN is your admin access, so keep it somewhere safe. |
| 2. Share the code | Post the code (or the invite link from My League) wherever your group talks. People join themselves — no approval needed from you. |
| 3. Add your branding (optional) | Admin → Branding lets you add your own group logo, up to 6 sponsor logos, and a prize to show what's up for grabs — all optional, and shown to everyone in the league once set. |
| 4. Link the real matchday | In Admin, enter which real Premier League matchday this round is (e.g. Matchday 5). This is the only manual step — the pick deadline is then set automatically from that matchday's earliest kickoff (1 hour before, anyone without a pick by then is disqualified), and later rounds pick up the next matchday on their own without needing to be told again. |
| 5. Results & settling the round | Automatic from here — nothing to click. As that matchday's games finish, results fill themselves in, and once every picked team has a result the round settles itself and opens the next one. |
| 6. Clean up duplicates | Admin → Manage Players lets you remove test entries or duplicate names, and shows everyone's email so you can contact them directly. |
| 7. Delete the league (if needed) | Admin → Danger Zone permanently deletes the whole league. There's no undo, so it's mainly for clearing out test leagues before your real one goes live. Disclaimer: any started leagues that are removed are done so at your own risk and cannot be a cause to complain to anticiplay.com. |
| Player emails | Automatic, nothing to send yourself — everyone gets a welcome email when they join, a through/out email once each round is settled, and a winner announcement when the league's decided. |
| The Anticiplay League | Automatic, nothing to set up — everyone who joins or starts a league here is also entered into Anticiplay's own official site-wide league, unless they're already in it. It runs exactly like any other league, with its own standings and Hall of Fame. |
| A winner is decided | Nothing to do — it's automatic. Once one player remains, they're recorded in the Hall of Fame and a brand new season starts the following round with everyone back in. If everyone left standing goes out together instead, there's no winner — it rolls over the same way, recorded in the Hall of Fame as a rollover rather than a win. |
| Fixtures & PL Table | Both update automatically from real Premier League data — no admin action needed. |
